I could write lots about the enormous Holiday feast that is ahead of us - whatever the fare - fish, fowl, veggies, pumpkin pie, apple pie, fruit cake - well you get the picture. BUT what makes the holidays special is that I can celebrate it here in the Hudson Valley. It comes so close to a Norman Rockell setting. It also reminds me of a Hallmark card or a TV special. We all do a time-trip to childhood around the holidays - memories of going to grandma's - the feeling of warmth, safety and closenss.

It's been decades, perhaps, since we felt that way. For me and hopefully for you, the same sense of security and nostalgia is available here in the Hudson Valley.
